Using the Bol d'air couldn't be simpler: after turning on the device and selecting the duration of your session, position yourself at a maximum of 10cm from the corolla and breathe normally through your nose. The principle of this device is not to breathe more oxygen, but to better assimilate the oxygen breathed. Pulsed atmospheric air passes into a container and takes care of the volatile compounds contained in the special mixture of Bol d’air and Orésine. These compounds are subjected to a chemical transformation allowing them to bind atmospheric oxygen: this is peroxidation. The ‘peroxidised’ compounds obtained are very active, and to allow maximum efficiency, they must be inhaled at the time of their manufacture.
A supply of oxygen is a constant and vital need of the body. Unlike nutrients that can be stored in tissues, oxygen cannot be stored. This is why, all our life, we are dependent on the oxygen we breathe and, even more so, on the way we use it. A lack of oxygen is a determining factor in the onset of the simplest disorders and the most serious diseases. However, the air around us is not lacking in oxygen and most of the time an increase in the oxygen breathed will have little effect. It is far more effective to facilitate its ‘assimilation’ using a natural catalyst. This is what the Bol d'air makes possible, without causing hyper oxygenation or oxidation of the ground because the inhaled products are anti-free radicals.
In the body, Bol d'air stimulates the natural process of oxygen assimilation, which decreases with age, stress, illness, atmospheric and food pollution. Doing regular inhalations increases vitality and improves overall health by promoting our normal functioning. As a result, we are naturally better equipped to react healthily to all aggressions.
There is no acquired tolerance. The Bol d’air stimulates a process for improving overall health. In fact, as you start to feel better, you are likely to forget about doing the sessions.
It all depends on your needs. The results of the Bol d’air are linked to its use. A single session has as immediate impact on the nervous state. Some health professionals use the device to help their patients relax completely. The treatments can take place in sequences of three sessions per week. However it is of course more effective to do daily sessions and make the Bol d'air part of your lifestyle. In this case, it is possible to schedule multiple sessions per day because each inhalation initiates a process that lasts around four hours. We can therefore complete sessions of 3 to 15 minutes, three times a day.
By stimulating the body’s vitality, the Bol d'air can cause slight and temporary disturbances comparable to those observed during a spa treatment, the resumption of a sport, a change in diet or homeopathic treatment. This is not an iatrogenic effect but rather an elimination that can result in temporary fatigue. During these occasional inconveniences, we advise not to stop the sessions but to reduce and space them out temporarily.
The Jacquier Bol d'air is not a medicine. It provides a harmless response to the lack of oxygen from which we all suffer to varying degrees. It fully complements other health methods (a healthy and balanced diet, food supplements, vitamins, allopathy, homeopathy, etc.). All of René Jacquier’s theories behind the Bol d'air® were the subject of a book, De l’Atome à la Vie, selected as a priority in 1962 under the heading ‘Science and Medicine’ of the Tables of works listed and selected for public education libraries (decree of February 28, 1951). The results obtained through the device speak for themselves, and there are many testimonials both from doctors and individual users reporting on its benefits. However it is only modern scientific grounds that can stand up to such intense scrutiny. Holiste has therefore began research to validate these past works (view scientific research). The results obtained have led to numerous publications and presentations at world and European congresses. As a result, it has now been shown that it is indeed oxygenation that stimulates the anti-radical activity of the cell.
No, the Bol d’air can form part of your lifestyle, and is suitable for the whole family, young and old alike. For instance, it is also used by high-level athletes in excellent health. Professor Andréa Lino (University of La Sapienza) recommends it for use before a competition for physical preparation, and after, for recovery. Many individuals simply use it to keep fit.
The Bol d'air should not be used by people suffering from turpentine allergy, terpene-dependent epilepsy or seizures. It is always advisable to start with short sessions and proceed gradually, especially in cases of asthma, spasmophilia, allergy or hyperthyroidism. Use of the Bol d'air is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, or for children under 36 months. The Bol d’air does not replace your usual treatments; speak to your doctor for advice.
Maintenance is very easy and absolutely essential. Glassware must be cleaned regularly (every 3 to 4 weeks), at each change of Orésine, or at the end of each treatment. It’s important to rinse the 2 bottles containing the new Orésine compound well, or even to soak them in 70° alcohol if they are very sticky and hard to clean. The bottles must then be rinsed under running water and be allowed to dry completely before being used again. A comprehensive user manual is provided with the device and cleaning videos are available on our website.
The investment may seem significant but the operating cost is extremely slow. A session costs less than €0.08 (three times cheaper than a food supplement capsule). Additionally, an entire family can benefit from it for years, avoiding many other forms of medication. As designer, manufacturer and developer, we want this method to become accessible for everyone, providing results that are both unique and exceptional. We have made many efforts to make the devices more convenient, better performing and cheaper. These are technically complex devices, with high-quality elements often manufactured individually. We have chosen to maintain French production which is still partially done by hand. The Jacquier Bol d'air may, of course, remain out of your budget, so we remind you that you can do treatments with a health practitioner (over 700 centres in France, 2500 professionals who trust us) or opt for a rental system.
The terpene compound specific to Bol d'air is called Orésine®, which translates as the gold of the pines, for something a little more poetic. This product is invaluable. It is obtained from the gum (resin) of the pine tree Pinus pinaster of Landes or Portuguese origin. Through steam distillation, turpentine is separated from rosin (not to be confused with industrial turpentines unsuitable for use in medicine, aromatherapy and cosmetics). After filtering, this essential oil is strictly monitored by Holiste. Only the quality suitable for use in the Bol d'air® (not containing Delta 3 Carene) is selected. The Ecocert Label validates its organic and nutritional quality. Its multiple properties have been known since ancient times. One of these properties is particularly unique and surprising: its ability to capture oxygen and release it under certain conditions. The Bol d'air uses this capacity (peroxidation according to an adapted technology) and creates the conditions which make it possible to carry out a so-called biocatalytic oxygenation in vivo.
Once you have purchased the specific Orésine compound, you have 3 years to use it in your Bol d'air device if the bottle has remained sealed. Once opened, it must be used within one year.
The batch number on the label corresponds to the date of bottling. For example, this number 𝘓220707-𝘉 6 indicates bottling on July 07, 2022. From this date, it can then be kept for three years when sealed and one year once opened.
It must be stored away from light and heat.
Do not dispose of your used Orésine product down the drain. Instead, deposit it at the recycling centre or it can be used for the following purposes:
• solvent for paints and varnishes
• cleaning of untreated woodwork, floor tiles and slate floors (2/3 linseed oil – 1/3 turpentine)
• maintenance of waxed furniture (mixed with beeswax)
• rustproofing for tools
• stain remover for fresh paint, mould, grease, tar…
Concerning the decree of the Official Journal of August 2003 widely distributed on the internet, we would like to access the situation. This does not prohibit us from manufacturing, selling or advertising the Bol d'air®, but only from using claims based on scientific evidence considered insufficient at the time: work prior to the 1980s justifying an allegation of being considered as obsolete, and the testimonies of doctors as anecdotal.
Since 2003, we have taken a multidisciplinary scientific approach using modern and officially recognised methods, the results and publications of which we regularly communicate. In our approach, we have the support of many partners, such as ANVAR-OSEO (Ministry of Research), DRIRE and FEDER (Europe).
